Writing an Opinion

What this lesson teaches
An opinion tells what you think. A strong opinion names the topic, states what you think, and gives a reason.
Worked example
'My favorite season is summer because I can swim every day.' It names the topic (seasons), the opinion (summer), and a reason (swimming).
Practice questions
- Write an opinion sentence about your favorite food.
- Add the word 'because' and a reason.
- Name the topic of your opinion.
