What this lesson teaches
To find how many, we count each thing one time - whether they are in a line or spread all around.
Worked example
You see 6 stickers scattered on the table. Touch each one as you count: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. There are 6.
Practice questions
- Count a line of 8 blocks.
- Count 5 toys that are spread on the floor.
- Touch each thing one time - how many did you count?
