Counting All the Way to 100

What this lesson teaches

We can count by ones (1, 2, 3) or count by tens (10, 20, 30) all the way to 100.

Example 1

Count by tens like a jump: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. Each jump adds a whole group of ten.

Example 2

Counting by ones takes a long time to reach 100, but counting by tens gets there in only ten jumps: 10, 20, 30 ... 90, 100.

Example 3

Start at 60 and count on by tens: 70, 80, 90, 100. You do not have to start at 10 every time.

Ejemplo 1: Cuenta de diez en diez como un salto: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. Cada salto agrega un grupo entero de diez.

Ejemplo 2: Contar de uno en uno tarda mucho en llegar al 100, pero contar de diez en diez llega en solo diez saltos: 10, 20, 30 ... 90, 100.

Ejemplo 3: Empieza en 60 y sigue de diez en diez: 70, 80, 90, 100. No tienes que empezar en 10 cada vez.
