Who Made the Book?

What this lesson teaches
The author writes the words, and the illustrator draws the pictures.
Worked examples
Example 1
On a book about a red kite, one person wrote the words and another drew the kite flying high.
Example 2
The author's name and the illustrator's name are both on the cover, usually under the title.
Example 3
Sometimes the same person does both jobs — writes the words and draws the pictures.

- Who wrote the words in your book?

¿Quién Hizo el Libro?
El autor escribe las palabras, y el ilustrador dibuja las imágenes.
Ejemplo 1: En un libro sobre un papalote rojo, una persona escribió las palabras y otra dibujó el papalote volando alto.
Ejemplo 2: El nombre del autor y el del ilustrador están los dos en la portada, normalmente debajo del título.
