Worked example
You have 3 ducks and 2 more come to play. Draw them and count: 3 and 2 makes 5 ducks.
Practice questions
- You have 4 grapes and eat 1 - how many are left?
- 2 birds sit down, then 3 more land - how many birds?
- Draw 5 stars, then cross out 2. How many now?
