What this lesson teaches
Strong writing comes from revision. Plan before you draft, then revise, edit, or even try a new approach, always asking whether the purpose is clear and the audience is served.
Worked example
A first draft buries its point in the third paragraph; revising, you move that sentence to the top and cut two off-topic lines, so the reader grasps the purpose at once.
Practice questions
- Mark the weakest sentence in a draft and rewrite it.
- Move one idea to a better position and explain why.
- Cut a sentence that does not serve your purpose.

La buena escritura surge de la revisión. Planifica antes de redactar; luego revisa, corrige o incluso prueba un enfoque nuevo, preguntándote siempre si el propósito es claro y si el público queda bien servido.
Ejemplo: Un primer borrador esconde su idea en el tercer párrafo; al revisar, mueves esa oración al inicio y quitas dos líneas fuera de tema, para que el lector capte el propósito de inmediato.
