What this lesson teaches

When you tell about something, speak clearly and add details so your listeners can picture it.

Worked example

'On Saturday I went to the zoo. I saw a tall giraffe eat leaves from a high branch. It was a fun day.'

Practice questions

  1. Tell a partner about something you did, in order.
  2. Add two details so they can picture it.
  3. Speak slowly and clearly so everyone understands.
