What this lesson teaches
In a research project, you read a few books on one topic and share what you learn to make a report.
Worked examples
Example 1
Your class reads three books about frogs, writes down cool facts, and puts them together in one frog report.
Example 2
Your class reads about the ocean, each person writes one fact, and together the facts make a class poster.
Example 3
Two people may find the same fact. That is not wasted — a fact two books agree on is a fact you can trust.
Practice questions
- Pick a topic your group wants to learn about.
- Find one fact from a book about your topic.
- Share your fact so the group can add it to the report.
