Two Books, One Topic

What this lesson teaches
Two books can be about the same thing. We can see how they are alike and how they are different.
Worked examples
Example 1
Two books are about cats. One tells what cats eat. The other shows how cats play. Both are about cats, but they teach different parts.
Example 2
Two books are about the ocean. One is about whales, the other about waves. Same topic, different parts of it.
Example 3
If two books say different things about the same fact, that is worth asking an adult about.
Practice questions
- Name two books about the same topic.
- Tell one thing that is the same in both.
- Tell one thing that is different.

Dos Libros, Un Tema
Dos libros pueden tratar de lo mismo. Podemos ver en qué se parecen y en qué son diferentes.
Ejemplo 1: Dos libros son sobre gatos. Uno dice qué comen los gatos. El otro muestra cómo juegan. Ambos son sobre gatos, pero enseñan partes diferentes.
Ejemplo 2: Dos libros son sobre el océano. Uno es sobre ballenas, el otro sobre las olas. El mismo tema, partes distintas.
Ejemplo 3: Si dos libros dicen cosas distintas sobre el mismo dato, vale la pena preguntarle a un adulto.
