What this lesson teaches
In fact books, two things can be joined together. One thing can lead to another.
Worked examples
Example 1
The sun comes up. Then the flower opens. The sun and the flower are connected, because the sun helps the flower.
Example 2
It rains. Then the puddle fills. Then the bird drinks from it. Three things connected in a row.
Example 3
Words like 'so' and 'because' are the clue. 'The ground was wet because it rained' links two facts.
Practice questions
- Name two things in a fact book.
- Tell how one helps the other.
- What happens first, and what happens next?

Cómo Se Conectan
En los libros de datos, dos cosas pueden estar unidas. Una cosa puede llevar a otra.
Ejemplo 1: Sale el sol. Luego la flor se abre. El sol y la flor están conectados, porque el sol ayuda a la flor.
Ejemplo 2: Llueve. Luego se llena el charco. Luego el pájaro toma de él. Tres cosas conectadas en fila.
