What this lesson teaches
A drawing can help us share our ideas. We can add a picture to show what we mean.
Worked examples
Example 1
We tell about our trip to the park. Then we draw a slide and a tree to show what we saw.
Example 2
We tell about our garden, then draw the rows of seeds we planted so people can see it.
Example 3
Point to your drawing as you talk. It keeps the listener looking at the right part.
Practice questions
- Tell a short story out loud.
