What this lesson teaches
A push or a pull can make a toy speed up or turn to go a new way.
Worked example
You roll a ball toward a wall, and when it bumps the wall it turns and rolls a new way.
Practice questions
- Roll a ball and give it a little push to make it go faster.
- Set up a pillow so a rolling toy car bumps it and turns.
- Try to steer a ball to a spot on the floor using only gentle pushes.
