Which One Is Bigger?

What this lesson teaches
We can hold two things next to each other to see which is longer, taller, or heavier.
Worked examples
Example 1
Put two pencils side by side. The one that sticks out farther is the longer pencil.
Example 2
Stand back to back with a friend. Whoever's head is higher is taller — you have to line up your feet first for it to be fair.
Example 3
Put a book on one hand and a feather on the other. The book pushes down harder, so the book is heavier.

¿Cuál es más grande?
Podemos poner dos cosas juntas para ver cuál es más larga, más alta o más pesada.
Ejemplo 1: Pon dos lápices uno junto al otro. El que sobresale más es el lápiz más largo.
Ejemplo 2: Párate espalda con espalda con un amigo. El que tenga la cabeza más arriba es más alto — primero hay que alinear los pies para que sea justo.
Ejemplo 3: Pon un libro en una mano y una pluma en la otra. El libro empuja más hacia abajo, así que el libro es más pesado.
