Sorting Into Groups

What this lesson teaches
We can put things into groups that are alike, count each group, and see which group has the most.
Worked example
Sort your crayons: 3 red and 5 blue. Count each color - blue has more because 5 is bigger than 3.
Practice questions
- Sort your toys into cars and animals - count each group.
- Put buttons into big and small piles - which pile has more?
- Group your socks by color and count each color.
