What this lesson teaches
Pictures in a fact book help show what the words tell us.
Worked examples
Example 1
If the words say 'a bird builds a nest,' the picture shows the nest with twigs.
Example 2
If the words say 'a bear catches a fish,' the picture shows the fish in the bear's mouth.
Example 3
Sometimes the picture has a label with an arrow pointing to a part, like the bear's claws.

Pistas en Imágenes
Las imágenes en un libro de datos ayudan a mostrar lo que dicen las palabras.
Ejemplo 1: Si las palabras dicen 'un pájaro hace un nido', la imagen muestra el nido con ramitas.
Ejemplo 2: Si las palabras dicen 'un oso atrapa un pez', el dibujo muestra el pez en la boca del oso.
