What this lesson teaches
Real books have new words, and you can ask what they mean.
Worked examples
Example 1
A bug book might say 'antennae' — you can ask, and learn they are a bug's feelers.
Example 2
A space book might say 'orbit' — you can ask, and learn it means going around and around something.
Example 3
Fact words often come with a picture that shows exactly what they mean. Look at the picture before you ask.
Practice questions
- Find a new word in your fact book.
- Ask what the new word means.
- What did you learn the word means?
