What this lesson teaches
By fifth grade you can enjoy longer, trickier stories independently. When a part gets hard, slow down, reread, and picture what is happening.
Worked example
You hit a long chapter with old-fashioned words. You reread the confusing sentence, guess from clues around it, and keep the story moving.
Practice questions
- Reread a tough paragraph and say it in your own words.
- List one strategy you use when a page gets confusing.
- Choose a challenging book and set a daily page goal.

Leer Historias Más Difíciles Solo
