Measure Mass and Volume

What this lesson teaches
We measure how heavy something is in grams and kilograms. We measure how much liquid fits in a container in liters. Add or subtract these amounts like any numbers.
Worked example
A bottle holds 2 liters and another holds 3 liters. Together they hold 2 + 3 = 5 liters of water.
Practice questions
- A bag of rice is 4 kilograms. Two bags weigh how many kilograms?
- A jug has 6 liters and you pour out 2 liters. How many liters are left?
- One apple is about 100 grams. About how much do 3 apples weigh?
