What this lesson teaches
When you report or tell a story out loud, speak clearly at an even pace and add facts and details so listeners follow along.
Worked example
Reporting on your garden, you say slowly, 'I planted beans in May. They grew tall, and by July I picked ten pods.'
Practice questions
- Give a short report with two facts, speaking clearly.
- Tell a story with a beginning, middle, and end.
- Add one detail that helps your listeners picture it.
