Asking a Speaker Questions

What this lesson teaches
When someone tells you something, you can ask questions to learn more and answer their questions with helpful detail.
Worked example
A friend says he built a fort. You ask, 'What did you use?' and he answers, 'Old blankets and two chairs,' adding helpful detail.
Practice questions
- Ask a speaker a question that starts with 'how' or 'why.'
- Answer a question with one extra detail.
- Explain why good questions help you understand more.
