Taking Notes and Sorting Facts

What this lesson teaches
When you gather facts, write short notes in your own words. Then sort your notes into groups so they are easy to use.
Worked example
Reading about penguins, you jot 'eats fish' and 'lives in cold places,' then sort them into a 'food' group and a 'home' group.
Practice questions
- Take one short note from a text in your own words.
- Gather three facts and sort them into two groups.
- Give each group a title that tells what it holds.
