What this lesson teaches
In true texts, one thing often leads to another. Notice how events, ideas, or steps are linked in order.
Worked example
First a seed is planted. Then it gets water and sun. Next it grows into a plant. Each step leads to the next.

- Put the steps of how something is made in the right order.
- Tell what happens first and what happens next.
- Explain how one step helps the next step happen.
