Speaking & Writing Presentation

Aligned to ACTFL Presentational — ACTFL World-Readiness Standards.

What this lesson teaches

Once you know some words, you can share them with other people. You might count out loud, name colors, or sing a little song you practiced. Showing what you learned to your family or friends turns your practice into something fun to share.

Worked example

After practicing, you could point to crayons and say in Spanish: 'rojo, azul, verde' (red, blue, green) to teach the colors to your grown-up.

Practice questions

  1. Teach someone three words you know in another language.
  2. Sing or say a counting song you have practiced.
  3. Why is it fun to show others what you have learned?
