What this lesson teaches
Singing and playing instruments is fun, and even more fun together. You can sing songs with others, keep a steady beat on a drum or shaker, and then perform for people who love to listen. Starting together and stopping together is part of the music.
Worked example
Sing a favorite song while tapping a steady beat on a shaker or pot, then take a bow and have a little family concert.
Practice questions
- Sing a song you know and tap the beat at the same time.
- Make a shaker from a bottle and rice, then play along.
- Put on a tiny concert for your family.

Música: cantar y tocar instrumentos sencillos
