What's the Weather?

Aligned to K-ESS3-2 — Next Generation Science Standards.

What this lesson teaches

A weather report tells us what is coming so we can get ready.

Worked example

When rain is coming, we grab an umbrella and a coat before we go outside.

Practice questions

  1. Look out the window and tell if it is sunny, rainy, or windy.
  2. Pick the clothes you would wear on a very cold, snowy day.
  3. Ask a grown-up what the weather will be tomorrow.
