Worked example

A bird gathers sticks and grass to build a nest so it has a safe place for its eggs.

Practice questions

  1. Find a picture of an animal home, like a nest or a hole, and point to it.
  2. Watch a bug or a bird outside and notice what it moves or carries.
  3. Build a little home for a toy animal using blocks or leaves.
