Presenting Claims Clearly

What this lesson teaches
A strong presentation states claims and findings with relevant evidence and valid reasoning. Delivery matters too: use eye contact, adequate volume, and clear pronunciation so your point lands.
Worked examples
Example 1
Presenting on recycling, you make a claim, give one statistic, and explain the link, all while looking up from your notes and speaking loudly enough for the back row.
Example 2
Say the number, then what it means: '40% — that is two students in every class.' A statistic nobody can picture persuades nobody.
Example 3
Practise the first sentence until it is automatic. The nerves are worst before you have heard your own voice in the room.
Practice questions
- State a claim and one piece of supporting evidence aloud.
- Explain the reasoning that connects them.
- Name one delivery habit you will improve.

Presentar Afirmaciones con Claridad
Una buena presentación expone afirmaciones y hallazgos con evidencia relevante y razonamiento válido. La entrega también importa: usa contacto visual, volumen adecuado y pronunciación clara para que tu punto llegue.
Ejemplo 1: Al presentar sobre el reciclaje, haces una afirmación, das una estadística y explicas la conexión, todo mientras levantas la vista de tus notas y hablas lo bastante alto para la última fila.
Ejemplo 2: Di el número y luego qué significa: '40% — o sea dos estudiantes en cada salón.' Una estadística que nadie puede imaginar no convence a nadie.
Ejemplo 3: Practica la primera oración hasta que salga sola. Los nervios son peores antes de haber oído tu propia voz en el salón.
