What this lesson teaches
Pictures, charts, and sounds can make a presentation clearer and more interesting. Choose visuals and audio that match your main idea and help your audience understand it, not just decorate the page.
Worked example
Presenting on thunderstorms, a student shows a photo of lightning and plays a short clip of thunder, so the audience both sees and hears what the report is about.
Practice questions
- Name one picture or sound that would help explain a topic you like.
- Explain how a chart could make a spoken report easier to understand.
- Describe a visual you would add to a presentation about your favorite animal and why.
