What this lesson teaches
Special people helped build our community. Founders started the town, and leaders and workers made it grow. Landmarks are important places that remind us of them.
Worked example
A statue in the town park might honor the person who founded the town, and a street named after a famous teacher reminds everyone of the good she did.
Practice questions
- What is a founder?
- Name one landmark you have seen in a community.

Personas Que Formaron Nuestra Comunidad
Personas especiales ayudaron a construir nuestra comunidad.
