What this lesson teaches
A community is made of people from many cultures. A tradition is a special way of doing things passed down in a family or group, like the food, music, and holidays they celebrate.
Worked example
One family might celebrate with a piñata and special foods on a holiday, while a neighbor family lights candles for a different celebration — both are traditions worth respecting.
