What this lesson teaches
The author of a true text has their own opinion about a topic. Yours might be the same or different.
Worked example
An author may think city parks are the best place to play, but you might prefer your own backyard — that is your point of view.
Practice questions
- Tell what the author thinks about a topic.
- Tell what you think about that same topic.
- Explain whether you agree with the author and why.
