Saving and Spending Money

Aligned to C3.D2.Eco.2 — C3 Framework for Social Studies State Standards.

What this lesson teaches

People use money to buy the things they need and want. We can spend money now or save it in a bank or jar to use later.

Worked example

If you save one coin each week in a jar, soon you will have enough to buy a book you have wanted.

Practice questions

  1. Tell one thing you might buy with money.
  2. Tell why saving money can be a smart choice.
  3. You get five coins. Show how you would save some and spend some.

Ahorrar y gastar dinero
