What this lesson teaches
Goods are things people make or grow; services are jobs people do for others. Producers make goods or services; consumers use them.
Worked example
A baker (producer) makes bread (a good); a haircut is a service. When you buy bread, you are the consumer.
Practice questions
- Give an example of a good and a service.
- Are you a producer or consumer when you buy a toy?
- Name a producer in your community.

Bienes, servicios, productores y consumidores
Los bienes son cosas que las personas fabrican o cultivan; los servicios son trabajos que las personas hacen para otros. Los productores crean bienes o servicios; los consumidores los usan.
Ejemplo: Un panadero (productor) hace pan (un bien); un corte de cabello es un servicio. Cuando compras pan, tú eres el consumidor.
