What this lesson teaches
A need is something we must have to live, like food, water, and a home. A want is something nice to have but not needed.
Worked example
An apple to eat is a need, but a toy robot is a want. When we cannot have everything, we must choose.
Practice questions
- Name one thing that is a need.
- Name one thing that is a want.
- You have money for only one thing. Pick a need over a want and tell why.

Necesidades y deseos
Una necesidad es algo que debemos tener para vivir, como la comida, el agua y un hogar. Un deseo es algo bonito de tener pero que no se necesita.
Ejemplo: Una manzana para comer es una necesidad, pero un robot de juguete es un deseo. Cuando no podemos tener todo, debemos elegir.
