Evaluating Sources in Media

What this lesson teaches
Listeners and viewers meet information in many forms — speeches, videos, infographics, podcasts — and must integrate them while judging each source's credibility and accuracy. Not every confident voice is a reliable one.
Worked example
A polished video and a plain data table make opposite claims; checking who funded each helps you decide which to trust.
Practice questions
- Integrate a spoken claim with a visual statistic.
- List two questions that test a source's credibility.
- Explain how presentation can hide weak evidence.
