What this lesson teaches
When information comes in different formats — a chart, a clip, a spoken claim — integrate it into one understanding while evaluating each source's credibility and accuracy. Note when formats disagree.
Worked example
If a speaker cites a rising trend but the chart behind them shows it flattening, the honest move is to flag the mismatch rather than repeat the spoken claim.
Practice questions
- Combine information from a visual and a spoken source on one topic.
- Judge which source is more credible and explain why.
- Describe what you would do if two sources on the same point disagreed.
