What this lesson teaches
Sometimes you prepare something ahead of time to share with others, like a short talk about yourself or a few written sentences with a drawing. Planning lets you put your words in order and use more of the language than you could on the spot. Practicing first makes it feel easier.
Worked example
You might make a small poster that says in Spanish: 'Me llamo Sofia. Tengo un perro. Me gusta dibujar.' (My name is Sofia. I have a dog. I like to draw.) and read it to your family.

A veces preparas algo con anticipación para compartirlo con los demás, como una pequeña plática sobre ti mismo o algunas oraciones escritas con un dibujo. Planear te permite ordenar tus palabras y usar más del idioma de lo que podrías hacer de improviso. Practicar primero hace que se sienta más fácil.
Ejemplo: Podrías hacer un cartel pequeño que diga en español: 'Me llamo Sofia. Tengo un perro. Me gusta dibujar.' y leerlo frente a tu familia.
