What this lesson teaches
Images, charts, sound, and video can clarify claims and highlight your key points. Add multimedia that supports your message rather than distracts from it.
Worked example
Explaining that a lake shrank, you show two photos — one from 2000, one from today. The side-by-side images prove your point instantly, more clearly than describing the change in words.
Practice questions
- For a topic you could present, name one visual that would clarify your main point.
- Explain what a chart or photo would show that words alone could not.
- Decide where in a short talk you'd place that visual for the strongest effect.
