Volume of Rectangular Prisms

What this lesson teaches
Volume measures the space inside a solid, counted in unit cubes. For a box, multiply length × width × height — that's how many unit cubes fill it.
Worked example
A box 5 cm long, 3 cm wide, 4 cm tall: V = 5 × 3 × 4 = 60 cubic centimeters.
Practice questions
- Find the volume of a 6×2×3 prism.
- A fish tank is 10×4×5 in. What's its volume?
- Two boxes have volume 24. Give possible dimensions for each.

El volumen mide el espacio dentro de un sólido, contado en cubos unitarios. Para una caja, multiplica largo × ancho × alto — así obtienes cuántos cubos unitarios la llenan.
