What this lesson teaches
Water is found in many places on Earth, and it can be a solid like ice or a liquid we can pour.
Worked example
Water fills the ocean and lakes as a liquid, and on a snowy mountain it is a solid we call snow and ice.
Practice questions
- Name two places on Earth where you can find water.
- Point to water that is solid and water that is liquid in a picture.
- Explain how the same water can be liquid in summer and solid in winter.
