What this lesson teaches
Fluent reading means reading smoothly, not stuck on every word. When you read and it does not make sense, go back and read it again to fix it.
Worked example
Read 'The cat ran fast.' Try to read it smoothly, like talking. If you read 'The cat ran fast' but it sounded choppy, read it once more so it flows.
Practice questions
- Read a sentence three times until it sounds smooth.
- Read with a happy voice when you see a happy part.
- If a word does not make sense, what should you do?

Fluidez lectora
Leer con fluidez significa leer de manera fluida, sin quedarse atascado en cada palabra. Cuando lees y no tiene sentido, regresa y vuelve a leerlo para corregirlo.
