What this lesson teaches
You can act out a story you know by taking on a role and using your voice and body. Retelling a story by acting it helps you remember it and lets you share it with others. Being brave enough to perform is something to be proud of.
Worked example
Act out The Three Little Pigs. One person huffs and puffs as the wolf while others build pretend houses, then perform it for the family.
Practice questions
- Act out your favorite picture book with someone.
- Pick a character and show how they walk and talk.
- Perform a short story for your family and take a bow.

Teatro: actuar historias y compartirlas
Puedes actuar un cuento que ya conoces tomando un papel y usando tu voz y tu cuerpo. Volver a contar una historia actuándola te ayuda a recordarla y te permite compartirla con otros. Animarte a actuar ante el público es algo de lo que puedes estar muy orgulloso.
Ejemplo: Actúa Los tres cochinitos. Una persona sopla y sopla como el lobo mientras las demás construyen casas imaginarias, luego represéntenlo para la familia.
