What this lesson teaches
Typing well means using proper hand position so your fingers know where the keys are without looking, which lets you focus on your ideas instead of hunting for letters. It also helps to know how to create, name, save, and find your documents, and to use basic tools in word processors, slides, and spreadsheets to make and share your work.
Worked example
You write a story on the computer, save it in a folder named My Stories with a clear name like dragon-tale, and can find it again next week in seconds. A classmate who saved everything as untitled cannot find anything.

Escritura en teclado y herramientas de productividad
Escribir bien en el teclado significa usar la posición correcta de las manos para que tus dedos sepan dónde están las teclas sin necesidad de mirar, lo que te permite concentrarte en tus ideas en lugar de buscar las letras. También es útil saber cómo crear, nombrar, guardar y encontrar tus documentos, y usar herramientas básicas en procesadores de texto, presentaciones y hojas de cálculo para hacer y compartir tu trabajo.
Ejemplo: Escribes un cuento en la computadora, lo guardas en una carpeta llamada Mis Cuentos con un nombre claro como cuento-del-dragon, y puedes encontrarlo la próxima semana en segundos. Un compañero que guardó todo como sin-título no puede encontrar nada.
