Worked examples
Example 1
Instead of a whisper, you could say, 'I want the red block, please.'
Example 2
Instead of pointing, you could say, 'May I have the blue marker?'
Example 3
Look at the person when you speak. It helps them know you are talking to them.
Practice questions
- Say your idea in a clear voice.
