What this lesson teaches
Animals and plants have parts on the outside and inside that help them survive. Outside parts like claws, fur, and roots do important jobs, and inside parts like bones, the stomach, and the brain keep the body working. Your senses send signals to your brain so you can react to the world.
Worked example
A wolf's sharp teeth and claws (outside) help it catch food, while its stomach (inside) breaks the food down for energy. When your eyes see a ball flying at you, they send a signal to your brain, which tells your hands to catch it.

Los animales y las plantas tienen partes en el exterior y en el interior que los ayudan a sobrevivir. Las partes externas, como las garras, el pelaje y las raíces, hacen trabajos importantes, y las partes internas, como los huesos, el estómago y el cerebro, mantienen el cuerpo funcionando.
