What this lesson teaches
Some animals survive better by living in groups instead of alone. A group can help find food, watch for danger, and protect one another. Working together gives each animal a better chance.
Worked example
Wolves hunt in a pack, so they can take down prey much larger than one wolf could alone. A herd of zebras has many eyes watching, so they spot a lion faster than a single zebra would.
