What this lesson teaches
A set of small pieces can be taken apart and put back together to make something brand new.
Worked example
You can pull apart a tower made of blocks and use the same blocks to build a bridge instead.
Practice questions
- Build something with blocks, then take it apart and build a different thing.
- Draw two different objects you could make from the same set of pieces.
- Explain how a pile of Legos can become a car and then a house.
