Take Apart, Build Again

What this lesson teaches
A set of small pieces can be taken apart and put back together to make something brand new.
Worked examples
Example 1
You can pull apart a tower made of blocks and use the same blocks to build a bridge instead.
Example 2
Snap a set of building bricks apart and the same pieces become a rocket instead of a house.
Example 3
Cutting paper into pieces changes its shape but it is still paper. Rearranging is not the same as making something new.
Practice questions
- Build something with blocks, then take it apart and build a different thing.
- Draw two different objects you could make from the same set of pieces.
- Explain how a pile of Legos can become a car and then a house.

Desarmar y Volver a Armar
Un conjunto de piezas pequeñas se puede desarmar y volver a armar para hacer algo completamente nuevo.
Ejemplo 1: Puedes deshacer una torre de bloques y usar los mismos bloques para construir un puente.
Ejemplo 2: Separa unos bloques de construcción y las mismas piezas se vuelven un cohete en lugar de una casa.
Ejemplo 3: Cortar papel en pedazos cambia su forma pero sigue siendo papel. Reacomodar no es lo mismo que hacer algo nuevo.
