What this lesson teaches
Leading a rigorous discussion means setting the agenda, drawing out viewpoints, and synthesizing them toward a conclusion. Presenting clearly, applying complex conventions, and using varied vocabulary strategies round out advanced communication.
Worked example
As discussion leader, you say, 'We have heard two views on the policy; let's weigh the evidence for each and see where they agree,' guiding the group toward a synthesis.
