What this lesson teaches
There is more daylight in summer and less in winter. In summer the sun is up longer, and in winter it gets dark much sooner.
Worked example
In summer you can play outside after dinner and it is still bright. In winter it is already dark by dinnertime.
Practice questions
- Notice if it is light or dark outside when you eat dinner today.
- Watch when the sun comes up in the morning. Is it early or late?
- Ask a grown-up if the days feel longer or shorter than they did a while ago.

Hay más luz del día en verano y menos en invierno. En verano el sol está más tiempo en el cielo, y en invierno oscurece mucho más pronto.
