What this lesson teaches

Practice questions

  1. Solve 7 + 2 by counting on.
  2. Solve 5 + 3 by counting on.
  3. Start at 8 and count on 2. What number do you land on?

Contar hacia adelante

Para sumar un número pequeño, podemos empezar en el número más grande y contar hacia adelante.

Ejemplo: 6 + 3. Empieza en 6, luego cuenta 3 más: 7, 8, 9. Así que 6 + 3 = 9.
